One Free Day

During my stay in Tokyo, I will be very busy! Every day my schedule will be packed as our group visits schools, attend cultural events, and tours historic places. During the three weeks I am visiting the island, I have one free day to spend as I choose.

Here is your challenge: Do some research and find something interesting that you would visit or that you would do one your one free day if you were visiting Tokyo.Please do not visit web sites and cut and paste too much information. I would much rather you summarize it in your own words.

Hi Mr. Lahr,

I would suggest going on a shopping spree, but you're a guy so doesn't work. There is a place in Tokyo, called Tokyo Tower. If you're a fan of Godzilla, you might want to check it out. If not, you could go to the Metropolitan Fine Art Gallery. The entrance is free and it has reasonable hours. You're my art teacher, so that seems like a good place for you to go.

Hello Mr. Lahr,

Free time should be spent with the family you will be staying with. I mean, encourage them to go with you to different places of Japan. I am sure they know about the best sites of Japan way more we do. They can take to you to unique places that you might never have thought of! Anyway, I would get advice from them and the locals if I were you.

Hello Mr. Lahr,

I think that since your going to be in Japan, you should try some sushi. Sushi is delicious. I reccomend you trying to go shopping in "downtown" japan, i've heard it is a very good shopping place. I have been to japan, but never to "downtown" japan. Anyways, hope you have fun!

Hi Mr. Lahr,

Since you may be busy in Tokyo when you get to Japan, I suggest buying soveiners to show what kinds of arts and things that seem interesting to show to everyone. Maybe you can visit famous landmarks in Tokyo and interesting places that seem unusual to some people who have seen Japan in pictures. It would seem like a very fun vacation, and see how there sushi tastes like and compare it to the ones in America.
Thank you for reading this comment.

Louise =)
