I confess that I don't understand much about Anime. What can you tell me about it?
P.S. Some of you are getting lazy with your grammar. Remember this blog will be read by people in Japan, so please use proper grammar!

Hey Mr. Lahr,
You know how we've been drawing cartoons? Well, that's pretty much what anime is. Anime is short for animation. Anime is drawn, but some people have taken to using computers instead.

Mr. Lahr,
Anime is a traditionally hand drawn cartoon that is used for TV shows, films, video, and video games. Anime started in the early 1900’s and is still popular today.
Please go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime for more info.
Dear Mr. Lahr,
WHAT!!!?? HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW THAT MUCH OF ANIME!!!??(Sorry, I had to say that!)Anime is a type of art in Japan, but this is way different. Anime can be drawn, but it can be drawn the computer also. Basically, anime is seen with pictures of people with big eyes. Manga is another thing envolving anime. However, manga means "comic" in Japanese. The reason I had to say that is so you won't get confused with manga and anime. Manga is Japanese anime in books. Whats strange about manga is that the manga books is that there published backwards. I'm a HUGE HUGE FAN of anime!! (you can tell) A really good anime artist to get to know is the famous Hayao Miyazaki. This anime artist is famous for making anime movies such as Howl's Moving Castle, and Kiki's Delivery Service. These movies got me into anime a lot.

Hello Mr. Lahr,
Yeah...anime. Well, I know that you know a ton of stuff about anime because after all, you taught us how to draw some in our art class. Everything almost has been said about this subject, so I'll just say that anime is something that should be given more popularity in the United States because of its beauty and unique style of art.

Hi Mr. Lahr,
Anime is a cartoon on t.v. and manga is a cartoon in a book. Don't get them confused! Anime has characters with big eyes.
